Commercial snow and ice management in Hythe
Hythe is a village of around 850 on Highway 43, roughly 58 km northwest of Grande Prairie and close enough to the British Columbia line that a lot of the work moving through it is cross-border oilfield and forestry traffic.

Where the snow goes in Hythe
Yard sites in Hythe generally have room to stack on their own property. Piles go clear of gate approaches, truck routes and sightlines onto Highway 43.
Snow cannot be deposited onto the public roadway or into the highway right-of-way. Provincial right-of-way rules apply on the Highway 43 and 721 frontages in addition to the village's own bylaw.
