Acreage & Long Driveway Snow Removal
Acreage, long and circular driveways in Grande Prairie and the County are quoted individually, based on driveway length and width, the surface, turnaround room and access. The season plan is the same as every PWW plan: October 15 to April 15, unlimited clearings after every snowfall of 5 cm or more, and the windrow included.
How an acreage quote is worked out
A city driveway fits the standard driveway plans. An acreage doesn't, so the price comes from the property itself:
Length and width
How far it is from the road to the house or shop, and how wide it needs to be kept for your vehicles and equipment.
Surface
Gravel, paved, concrete or pavers. Each needs different care, especially along the edges.
Turnaround and parking
Turnarounds, parking pads and the area in front of a shop or garage add to the area cleared each visit.
Access
Gates, slopes, tight corners and where the snow can be piled on your property.

How much does acreage snow removal cost in the County of Grande Prairie?

What equipment do you use on an acreage?
Larger areas are cleared with a skid steer, a loader or a plow on a truck. Walks, steps and tight spots are done with snowblowers and plastic-edged shovels.

It stays on your property, in a spot agreed with you that keeps sightlines and your turnaround clear. It is never pushed onto the road or into the road ditch.
